Christmas Photos

Brianna continues to be "well-loved" (not spoiled, ha, ha) by all her family. We got packages from Texas from her Aunts and Uncles which we let her open on Christmas Eve.
Christmas Day presents. She has two favorite toys. Her baby doll which she feeds with the bottle, rocks, and plays "Ridin' to Boston" with (a game Papa Rasmusson plays with her which involves a rhyme and bouncing on his knees). Her other favorite (below) is the tea set which she plays with at her table. We've already had several tea parties with Mom, Dad and cousins.

and she's off...

Church was cancled due to a winter storm. We stayed home and had a nice family day today. And Brianna is officially walking!! ; )

What a day...

As my workout today I shoveled the driveway which had many areas of over 18 inches of snow. After about 15 minutes I was down to a thin long sleeve shirt! I was very thankful for my neighbor who brought the snowblower over and helped my finish. I have not seen any plows yet and there is 12-18 inches of snow in the road.

This is the back deck. I'm a little afraid it might fall from all the weight.

Who needs snow??

Sledding

Good thing we got her a toddler sled for Christmas. This one is a little awkward, but it worked. She has not been down the back steps yet. Better wait till she's at least 16 months before doing that. Ha,ha.

Brianna Spilled the beans...literally.

Meijer Gardens Christmas

Grandma Rasmusson took us to the gardens to see the trees and the train.
A kiss in front of the Mexico tree. It was Brianna's favorite since it had "cats" under the tree. Of course, they were not really cats. They were donkey pinatas.
She LOVED the trollley's. We chased them back and forth for a long time.

Oooo, water. No, you may not go in there.

Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas tree...

...how I love to play with your branches.
Well, really she is doing great with the tree. Today she took an ornament off for the first time. Considering it's been up for over a week that's pretty good. =)

Happy Birthday Zach!

Zach won our family game of poker. You can see why can't you? That is a pretty good poker face.
Playing a version of guitar hero. See Brianna clapping for Mom?
Johnny, the photographer. Taking after Grandpa.

Emma helping Dad blow out his candle. He turning 29 so he is getting too old to do it himself.

Pig Tails! =)

Brianna's first Pig tails. She has not been very happy today so today wasn't the greatest day to try. Oh well, she is cute anyway. She is watching Elmo in this picture. Seems to be the only thing that she likes today. Well, Elmo or Mom holding her. Thank God for Elmo!
The snow is SO pretty. Brianna kept pointing outside and she even repeated "snow" after me. =)

Brianna built her first bear!

These are my friends/co-workers LeeAnn and Jeanne. We have had the tradition of lunch at Olgas then building a bear for Toys for Tots for 3 years now (although I think we skipped last year). Brianna joined us this year. She didn't really know what she was doing but she liked the big machine with the stuffing tumbling inside. She built a bunny since her bunny is her favorite. She also liked Jeanne's purse which is a teddy bear backpack. She kept pointing at it hanging on her back.

Grandpa G's visit

On Monday I was home with Grandpa G and Mommy.

Boy, that Grandpa sure tires me out. I think I'll lay down right here for a nap.
Okay, I'm ready to go again. Up and down, up and down the sidewalk.

Grandpa can't believe he is in Michigan in November playing outside.

I got to spend the day with my Dad and Grandpa G. on Tuesday.
We played, went for a walk, and went to the Beltline Bar!
What a good day. = )
