Parent Dedication

Casey and I belong to Berean Bible Church of Byron Center.
Casey has attended (with her family) her whole life. I have been there about 12 years.
Last week we did a parent/child dedication for Brianna.

They asked us what is our favorite part of being a parent?
- having someone think your the funniest person in the word even though your acting like a dork!
- Our love for Brianna has helped us understand God's unconditional love of us.

They also asked why we are choosing to dedicate your child?
-To make a public statement that we will show Brianna God’s love and truth lived out in our daily lives and seek to lead her to a personal relationship with Jesus.

Grandma G

Grandma G (from Texas) came up to vistit last week.

Brianna got to spend some good quality time with her.

Grandma also made a deposit toward Brianna's college fund. I think she liked that! = )

Kristin's Birthday

We celebrated Kristin's (Jeremy's brother's wife) Birthday Saturday. They are moving to Bozeman Montana on 8/10/08. We will miss them!

Fun Day!

Brianna and I went for a small hike to get ready for Brianna's first Backpacking trip next weekend. Of course we only went a mile or so and we will be going ten next week! If you notice above she is giving hiking a thumbs up!

The first time I put her in the pool she didn't even like her toe in it. This time I put nice warm water in it and she loved it although she started screaming when I was putting her in remembering last time. She calmed down as soon as she felt it was so warm. =)

Brianna did awesome on our flights. She slept through every one, there and back!! We spent about 4 hours in the Milwaukee airport on the way back and she did great then too. =)
