One of the best places on Earth!!
We went to Grand Haven after work yesterday. Casey made us a dinner. We got to eat on the beach, swing, and enjoy the sunset. It was nice. = )

The zoo!
Well, there were not very many animals out today. Especially ones active enough for Brianna to notice. She did like the monkeys though. They came right up to the glass in front of her. She also liked the fish and ducks. That's about it. We didn't make it to the petting zoo in time. =( They coral the animals in at 4pm! What's up with that?

On the way home Kylee dumped all the crumbs and powder from her freeze dried fruit on herself and the carseat. I thought it was quite hilarious...can't wait till it happens to me.
New meaning to the term, "toe jam"
Rebekah invited me to try this cool but weird and disgusting Foot Detox. A positive charge comes from the machine working as a magnet to draw all the negative charged toxins in your body out through your feet. Weird right? Look at the water. DISGUSTING. I took a closeup of it but couldn't even bare to put in on the blog it is SO gross. I feel really good and energized now! All that crap was in my body...and in yours too. I know, you don't believe it.

Daisy Mae - Two nights ago Daisy Mae cut her foot on a nail and had to go the Pet ER for stitches. Poor baby is on exercise restrictions. She is a little restless, but doing well. She likes Brianna. Brianna is slowly warming up to her little cousin.

Jeremy and I went for a run in the rain this morning. We have always wanted to rent a cottage on a lake and go out for a run. We figured we better do it even if it's raining.

So, Jeremy and Mom went for a walk this evening. They were gone for an hour and a half but we weren't worried. Of course they made it back but felt very "unloved" because they called Ryan, Jennifer and my phone looking for someone to come pick them up because it was a monsoon out there. Well, it was a good adventure for them. They were soaked...again. Not the first time today.
Downtown, in the rain. The streets had flowing rivers like 6 inches deep we had to run through. Brianna thought it the rain was hilarious. Of course, we kept her dry. The rest of us were drenched. My Mom called to inform us of the flood and tornado warnings. What a beautiful weekend to spend at a cottage on the lake!

Learning New Tricks Everyday
I found Brianna standing in her crib this morning. I heard some strange banging noises and suspected she finally figured out she can stand up in her bed. I was right. This face is what happens when Mom runs to get the camera instead of getting her out of bed.

Caleb and Brianna
I took Caleb and Brianna to the park today. Brianna had fun watching him run around the playground and come up and say "BOO" or sometimes he would "ROAR" and Brianna would yell back. Then the three of us watched "Follow that Bird," the first Sesame Street movie in which Big Bird gets bird napped and dyed Blue for a circus show. =( Don't worry it turns out alright in the end. Caleb threw the soccer ball to me once and missed. It bounced off the bed and hit Brianna square in the forehead. She almost fell backward but held on and didn't even cry.
